CEO @ Bravely - Mental health tech for therapists. Designing by day, coding by night âðŧ
In 2011, I stumbled upon remote work while travelling the world. It led me to starting Melewi, one of the first location-independent product design agencies in the world. Since then, we've designed for millions working with clients on every continent (but Antarctica, although that's on the list) across 52 countries, including the likes of McDonald's, Visa, Samsung and Citibank.
Today, I'm the CEO of Bravely â a mental health startup building solutions for both individuals and therapists to supercharge their therapeutic journey. For most of my life, I've faced painful mental health struggles and challenges. These experiences now fuel my dedication and passion for the work I do.
My work and story have been featured on the front page of The Straits Times, selected as one of Robb Report's 2021 Thought Leader, and a LinkedIn Top Voice on mental health in 2022.
When I'm not in my hometown Singapore with my husband Rackley, you'll find us chasing down snow in Japan or driving through New Zealand's stunning nature.
Aside from my work at Bravely, I typically have the capacity to take on a passion project â in particular, I'm most interested in work involving pitching to investors, interim-CPO roles, or designing within a Framer or React project.

" When you see early design thatâs great, thatâs a big checkbox for us here at LAUNCH. Great design, well-crafted products (like Bravely) never happen by accident. You donât accidentally make something thatâs beautiful. "

From fast food delivery across 4 continents to facilitating microloans in India, I've designed products for businesses of all sizes, from ambitious startups to renowned Fortune 500 companies around the globe.
Figuring out how to create a product that your audience wants is a critical but difficult thing to achieve. Being an entrepreneur has allowed me to amass a wide range of skills that are essential to startups and product teams.
Most recently, I've picked up frontend React and Framer development skills to make my design work significantly quicker, streamlined and more precise.

With over a decade of experience, I've spoken at events, panels and conferences across APAC, Europe & USA for the likes of Dropbox, Citibank, Today, Remote Future Summit, Remote.com and most recently, The Economist and Google.
My topics of expertise and interest lie within the spaces of mental health & wellbeing, remote work, team culture, product design & entrepreneurship, and on occasion, life as a digital nomad.
If you're interested in having me in your panel line-up or to conduct a talk, I'd love to chat â
* While I speak on the topic of mental health, I'm not a licensed psychologist and am not qualified to give therapeutic advice. If you need an expert for an event, I'd be happy to make introductions.

When I was a kid, I dreamt of being a writer. As I grew older, my interests took me to other places, but my love for writing never strayed far. Bravely she said is a slightly-too-candid account of the hard-won, tiny victories against my own mind.
I welcome you to come along with me on this journey as I attempt to turn lifeâs hard lessons into a collection of personal essays to help both you and me bravely find more peace with our minds.
